Ok. This movie addresses a very VERY important issue. OVER FISHING IN THE ANTARCTIC!!

The movie starts off with the, well i hate to say it, but the lonely retarded penguin. He makes friend with some mehikan penguins by accident. Then he meets and emperor penguin. Together, the seven of them go to find the source of their food shortage. Now there is heart break which in turns splits their group. Now our main character finds the source of their food shortage and tries to go after it. He manages but in his vain efforts he swims and swims and swims until he passes out and is washed up on a beach. Now this LIVE penguin is taken to SEAWORLD!!!!

OMG! That makes me feel horrible!!! FLORIDA!! ........

Ok. Our main character spends time in captivity and starts to go crazy until a little girl inspires him. He starts dancing and gets the attention of all mankind. Now for some plot holes. He goes from captivity to his native, antarctic land where he convinces the other penguins, except the elders, to follow in his ways. Oh, he has been pinned with a tracking device and the humans are on their way. All the penguins start dancing and change the mind of the human race.

This movie is a great movie.

The accuracy of the Emperor Penguin is almost most way accurate. The Emperor Penguin does not dance..... but it does sing and it is monogamous. Their natural predators are birds, which go after the younger penguins, also the sea lions and orcas.

I highly suggest watching March of the Penguins by National Geographic & Discovery Channel with this movie. It truly helps one to understand the nature of the fabulous creatures.

Overall the computer graphic animation was AMAZING!! I remember watching Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within and this was ten years ago and the animation was almost life-like. But the animation I noticed the most was on the ICE!! The ice has all the foot prints, blood, belly marks, and wind shaping that all ice should have. Absolutely amazing.

There is much much more I can say about this movie but I'm sparing you the time of reading this.

Overall - TEN!
